CVCraft ("we", "us", "CVCraft.eu") is a free, browser-based CV and resume builder. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
CVCraft.eu is an independently operated free tool, based in Cyprus, EU. You can reach us at cvcrafteu@gmail.com with any privacy question or request.
Everything you enter into the builder — your name, work history, education, photo, and every other field — is processed entirely in your browser. It is not sent to our servers at any point while you're filling out the form, previewing your CV, or downloading it as a PDF: the preview, the PDF export, and every template are all rendered client-side.
To stop you losing your work, the same data is saved in your browser's localStorage. The
selected interface language and preview page mode are also saved there. This browser storage stays on
your device unless you choose to share the exported PDF. You can clear your CV data with the "Start new CV"
button, or clear all CVCraft storage through your browser's site settings.
Each time you load a page on this site, a self-hosted script records the page path and, when available, the referring site and path. Query strings and fragments are excluded. A daily rotating pseudonymous value is generated from the connecting IP address to estimate unique visits; the raw IP is not written to this visit record. This does not use cookies and does not read any of your CV content.
The visit log is stored on the server outside the public website directory. The hosting provider may separately record IP addresses in its standard web-server logs; retention depends on the hosting provider's configuration.
If you send a message through the contact form, your email address and message are sent to our server and forwarded to cvcrafteu@gmail.com so we can reply. The form's rate limiter stores a one-way hash of the connecting IP address and the submission time in a private server log for up to one hour. The message and email are not added to that rate-limit log.
CVCraft does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Browser localStorage is used
for the CV draft, interface language, and preview page mode. It remains on your device.
If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, data protection law gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export any personal data we hold about you, and to object to our processing of it. Because almost all of your CV data never reaches us in the first place, most of these rights are already satisfied simply by clearing your browser storage. For anything that does touch our servers (Section 3), you can email us at cvcrafteu@gmail.com to make a request, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
CVCraft is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we change what data we collect or how we handle it, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.

CVCraft is a free tool for building a CV or resume in your browser and exporting it as a PDF. It's provided "as is," free of charge, with no account required.
You retain all rights to the information you enter about yourself (your CV content). As explained in our Privacy Policy, this content is processed in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. You're solely responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for how you use the exported document.

The CV templates, layouts, and visual designs offered by CVCraft are provided for your personal use in building your own CV. They remain the property of CVCraft and may not be extracted, resold, or redistributed as a standalone product or template pack.
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular template will be accepted by any employer or applicant-tracking system — the in-app "ATS Score" is an informational estimate, not a guarantee of how any real ATS will parse your document.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVCraft and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data (for example, CV content cleared from browser storage).
We may update these terms or the Service itself from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, EU, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
